As part of his creative art practice, author and artist Spencer Sheehan-Kalina, would utlize sketchbooks to aid in the development of his art skills and exploration of his creative practice.
These are images that were collected from my paternal grandfather, who worked as a photographer professionally. These images came into my possession through my Uncle Robert who had been holding on to them for a number of years. He sent them to me as I had wanted to include them in the publication of the chapbook Of This with bird, buried press in Peterborough, Ontario.
The second fonds is titled as Fonds B: Papers, and is a gathering of the loose leaf papers that have accumulated over time. All those precious peices of paper with scirbbled and all of the life jotted down on them that for one reason or another never managed to make it to the recycling bin evnetually found their way into bankers boxes and became a collection over time. Some pages contain wrtiting, scibbles, notes and drawings. Here are some pages shared out of the Fonds B collection.
